The two people behind every prescription.
At a chain, "the pharmacist" is whoever's on shift. At Sophia's, it's Corrine or Jonathan — and choosing your pharmacy means choosing the clinicians who will actually know you.
Corrine Kaplan, PharmD
"Most medication problems announce themselves quietly — a skipped refill, a hesitation on the phone. You only catch those if you actually know the person."
Corrine leads the patient-care side of Sophia's: medication reviews, Personalized Medication Packs, and the caregiver relationships that make a household's medicine feel manageable again. Patients describe her the same way their physicians do — the pharmacist who calls before you knew there was something to call about.

Jonathan Abraham, PharmD
"A denial isn't an answer. It's the insurance company's opening position — and most patients never find out it was negotiable."
Jonathan runs the hard-problem side of the pharmacy: specialty sourcing, prior authorizations, appeals, and the physician clinical desk. When a dermatologist's office says "send it to Sophia's, they'll handle it" — Jonathan is the reason. He treats every stuck prescription as a case to be won, and reports back the way physicians wish every pharmacy would.

What "backed by a pharmacist"
actually means here.
Four checkpoints stand between every prescription and your hands. None of them can be skipped, rushed, or delegated to volume targets — because we don't have volume targets.
Read in full, in context
Every new prescription is reviewed against your complete profile — existing medications, allergies, conditions, and history — not scanned in isolation. Questions go to your prescriber directly, never back to you.
Interactions, duplications, dosing
A pharmacist screens for interactions across everything you take — including supplements and the prescriptions filled elsewhere that you've told us about. Flags are resolved before dispensing, not annotated after.
PharmD-verified, by name
Corrine or Jonathan personally verifies the final product — drug, dose, form, and label. Compounds and Medication Packs are dual-checked. The verifying pharmacist's name is on the record, and they'll stand behind it on the phone.
Counsel, then stay reachable
Every new therapy comes with a real conversation — what to expect, what to watch for, when to call. And then the part chains can't offer: the same pharmacist remains reachable, by call or text, for as long as you're our patient.
Verification is the floor.
Advocacy is the practice.
Proactive, not reactive
Refills tracked before they lapse, renewals requested before they expire, interactions caught before the first dose. The goal is that problems reach you already solved.
Your case, argued
Denials appealed, prior authorizations owned, savings programs applied — the insurance advocacy that turns "not covered" into "delivered Friday."
Invested, personally
Two pharmacists, one pharmacy, every patient known by name. When your outcome improves, the people who verified your prescription are the same people who notice.
The service we believe every patient deserves.
That your pharmacist knows your name, your medications, and your doctors. That your calls are answered by someone empowered to act. That the difficult prescriptions get more of our attention, not less. And that the quality you can see — the space, the packs, the delivery — is matched by the rigor you can't.
